Registered Nurse – PACU & Recovery

An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and experienced Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse to join the team at a leading private hospital in Brisbane. Permanent full-time, part-time, and casual positions are available. The PACU operates Monday to Friday, with shifts rostered between 6:30 am and 9:00 pm. The role also includes participation in an on-call roster and the opportunity to work occasional weekend shifts to support operational requirements. ABOUT THE ROLE
Your responsibilities will include:

Providing safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients recovering from anaesthesia and surgery;

Conducting comprehensive post-operative assessments, including monitoring airway, breathing, circulation, neurological status, pain, and surgical sites;

Recognising and responding promptly to patient deterioration and post-operative complications;
