Registered Nurse (PACU)

About The Role

We are looking for Registered Nurses to join our supportive Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) team at Mercy Hospital in Dunedin.

Our Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) receives patients from a variety of surgical specialities including Cardiothoracic, general surgical, neurosurgery, orthopaedic and more.

Specific Duties

• Provide optimum patient care in accordance with Mercy Hospital Shared Purpose and Values
• Practice in accordance with the Domains of Competence for the Registered Nurse
• Work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
• Maintain a current Nursing Council of New Zealand practising certificate

This is a permanent role offered at 0.8 FTE, 32 hours per week to be worked on a rotating roster.
