Responsibilities

• Rendering professional nursing care to patients within the operating theatre, ensuring nursing care is an integral part of total patient care.
• Working in conjunction with medical staff and following hospital policies and procedures.
• Implementing and delivering age‑appropriate patient care congruent with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
• Collaborating with nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams for effective patient management.
• Liaising with other health‑care providers to ensure appropriate and timely interventions and discharge planning.
• Providing comprehensive clinical handover reports using SBAR principles.
• Establishing priorities of care, nursing actions, and desired outcomes in a timely manner.
