Registered Nurse (Nursing Officer of the Day)

Summary The WHEN Supervisor/Nursing Officer of the Day (NOD) is a member of the nursing leadership team. The NOD provides administrative coverage during non-administrative tours of duty and is responsible for exercising prerogatives in administrative matters. In collaboration with the unit Nurse Manager, the NOD develops staffing plans for all clinical units in the facility and manages various program resources (financial, human, material, and information) to facilitate safe, quality care to patients.
