Position Overview
Under the general supervision of the Manager of Health Services, the RN provides professional registered nursing services for patients, including those with complex and unpredictable health needs. These services include independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, a leadership role within the healthcare team, and facilitation of patient care coordination and discharge planning.
Experience
- One-year current Post-Anesthesia (phase 2 recovery) and surgical nursing experience.
- Experience in outpatient surgery.
- Experience in Endoscopy, Cystoscopy, Minor Locals, and ECT (preferred).
- Satisfactory employment record.
Education
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program.
- Certification in Conscious Sedation.
