Position Summary
The Registered Nurse in the Ross Memorial Mental Health Program will function as a member of the interdisciplinary team and as such, is involved with cases of a complex clinical nature and is responsible for assessing and evaluating the biopsychosocial and emotional factors salient to assigned cases. As a Schedule One Facility the nurse is expected to function within an acute care setting (ED Crisis, PICU, Mental Health Inpatient, off ward units) to develop, implement, participate in evaluating the Clients’ treatment plan; provide crisis intervention; provide case follow-up and support clients in discharge planning; participate in team conferences; staff meetings and professional development activities; and performing other duties as required.
