Role

• Provide optimum quality of intensive patient care.
• Evaluate patients, and co‑coordinate and provide total patient care and other assigned duties according to policies and procedures of Critical Care/Step Down Unit.
• Give medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician to Critical Care/Step Down Unit patients.
• Perform ECGs as required.
• Responsible for physician orders, requisitions and all charting of patients under your care.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Code Blue procedures and duties and assume charge position until doctor arrives; supervise staff involved in Code Blue procedures.
