Registered Nurse - High Risk Obstetrics

Join Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre as a Registered Nurse, specializing in High Risk Antepartum care. This role emphasizes assessment, intervention, and education to support women facing complex pregnancies.
Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, the RN will provide comprehensive antepartum and postpartum care, assisting women experiencing high-risk pregnancies. The nurse will also be responsible for postsurgical care in gynecology and delivering compassionate perinatal bereavement support. Strong collaboration with the interprofessional team is essential to uphold patient-centered maternity care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver quality care for high-risk antepartum and postpartum patients
• Provide bereavement services and emotional support for families
• Function as a patient advocate during their stay
• Support Family-Centred Maternity Care in practice
• Maintain all required certifications and training
