Job Description
This role seeks an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join a high-performing Women's Services team within a Level II Trauma Center. You will provide comprehensive care to mothers and babies throughout the birthing process, manage complex clinical situations, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based patient care.
Responsibilities
+ Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients, including ongoing assessment and support throughout the birthing experience.
+ Monitor maternal and fetal well-being using electronic fetal monitoring, including recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
+ Perform and interpret fetal heart monitoring, including use of external fetal monitoring and adherence to AWHONN Intermediate or Relias fetal heart rate standards.
