Overview

We are hiring nurses for the anesthesia and surgical unit at Meilahti Siltasairaala for permanent positions. The work begins on 1 October 2026 or as agreed. Nursing duties include anesthesia and/or surgical nursing tasks. The core responsibilities of a surgical nurse involve instrumenting and monitoring roles.

Responsibilities

• Work in the operating room, recovery room, and outside the operating unit in anesthesia work.
• Participate in three‑shift coverage, including on‑call duties.
• Assist with procedures for orthopedics, traumatology, hand surgery, plastic surgery, oral and maxillofacial surgery, neurosurgery, and spinal cord surgeries.
