Overview

The rehabilitation short‑term care unit at Paukkula Home offers nurses the opportunity to perform meaningful and varied nursing work with elderly patients in rehabilitation. The position includes a recruitment bonus of 8% of the task‑specific salary for the first six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a nursing care expert in a 20‑bed unit where clients stay 1–2 weeks.
• Support home‑care and informal‑care clients by strengthening their functional capacity and ability to live at home for as long as possible.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and be responsible for medication and nursing care tasks, as well as planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing and health‑promotion activities.
• Provide a rehabilitative, customer‑oriented approach and close cooperation with relatives.
