Registered Nurse (Casual Part Time) - Fenelon Court

Key Responsibilities

• Complete and keep residents’ care assessments, service plans and documentation up to date and communicate changes to DHW/DOC for billing.
• Assist with scheduling of residents’ care conferences and participate in conferences.
• Work closely with DHW/DOC to facilitate residents’ move‑in and transfers.
• Order and safely keep drugs and narcotics and administer them in compliance with all regulatory requirements and Extendicare policies and procedures.
• Facilitate and provide resident/family education.
• Supervise resident self‑medication assessment and audits.
• Supervise and delegate care and medication administration responsibilities to unregulated care providers in compliance with applicable regulations and Extendicare policy and procedures.
