Registered Nurse- Cardiac Catheterization Lab- Temporary Part Time
DUTIES
- Participates and collaborates with other health care providers in provision of patient care.
- Effectively uses the Standards of Nursing Practice and the Nursing Process in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of the patient.
- Provides health teaching to patients and family.
- Working in a fast paced environment, assisting cardiologist with invasive cardiac procedures including angiography, right heart catheterizations and measurements, pacemaker insertions.
- Post procedure monitoring including removal of femoral sheaths.
- Working wearing lead apron/vest and thyroid collar (10-15 lbs.) all day.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Certificate of competency in Ontario.
- ACLS certification, current within last two years with experience.
