Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions
+ Utilizes the nursing process effectively (assessing the patient and situation, identifying the problem, planning, implementing, and evaluating care through the health care continuum).
+ Consistently demonstrates competent clinical skills. Coordinates and completes patient assessment and re-assessment to positively impact on quality outcomes.
+ Assesses barriers to learning and functional status of patient. Coordinates, evaluates, and completes patient/family teaching.
+ Consistently responds to patients/families in a courteous, positive, and timely manner.
+ Consistently respects the patients right to privacy and dignity.
+ Consistently respects the patients’ rights to confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines.
