Behavior Technician (Registered Behavior Technician)
Location: Silverdale, PA 18944
Reports To: BCBA / Supervisor
Position Summary
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct one‑on‑one behavioral interventions to support communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors across home, school, and community settings. Interventions are based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and implemented under the supervision of a BCBA.
Key Responsibilities
Build Therapeutic Rapport — Pair with the client as a reinforcing, trusted presence to increase the value of social interaction.
Teach Replacement Behaviors — Prompt safe, socially appropriate behaviors that support communication, social interaction, and problem‑solving.
