**POSITION PURPOSE**

Serves as a member of the System Senior Executive Team providing strategic thought leadership and direction for the Quality and Patient Safety, Infection Control, Clinical & Non-Clinical Risk, Accreditation, Colleague Safety, and Patient Experience programs across the acute care and ambulatory environment. Serves as the Leader for Quality working with the MINISTRY and local boards to oversee quality, patient safety, colleague safety, patient experience, infection control, Risk management, regulatory compliance, and a broad scope of performance improvement support functions for the health system. The VP of Quality and Risk leads the enabling strategies to assure regulatory compliance, risk management, data analytics and clinical informatics necessary to fulfill and sustain the mission and vision.
