Recreation Assistant Part Time Casual

The City of Salmon Arm is accepting applications for a Part Time Casual Recreation Assistant at the SASCU Recreation Centre. Reporting to the Aquatics and Programming Manager of the Shuswap Recreation Society, this position assists in providing recreation programs, courses and special events.

The Recreation Assistant performs a variety of duties including but not limited to working the reception area at the Recreation Centre, planning & delivering program activities, set up and take down of program space and teaching youth leadership courses (i.e. Red Cross Babysitters course, Safe at Home, Motoring Munchkins, etc.).

The applicable candidate must be able to work weekend and evenings. As this is a Part Time Casual position, hours will vary and the successful candidate may be called to ensure coverage for operations is maintained.
