Recoveries Consultant Disputes

The role:

To manage a portfolio of disputed recoveries files within Recovery & Settlements Department, whilst achieving cost effective and quality claims handling through robust relationships with internal and external service providers.

Responsibilities

• Investigating and resolving disputes across both the insured and uninsured disputed claims.
• Providing recommendations on how individual claims should be resolved
• Dealing with inbound queries from third parties and clients on relevant claims
• The ability to explain to third parties why we are holding them liable &; help them understand the reasons behind our decision
• Providing a point of reference to other consultants on related matters

What are we looking for?

• 18 months – 2 years' experience in recoveries and/or settlements
