Real Estate Chief Accountant (Brossard)

Overview

Real Estate Chief Accountant position for a client of Fed Finance on Montreal’s South Shore. This is a permanent hybrid role.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate a team responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping
• Oversee the entire accounting cycle and ensure the quality of financial reports
• Lead monthly closing processes in accordance with established deadlines
• Analyze and validate financial statements, including variances and balance sheet items
• Ensure the reliability and integrity of financial data for managed entities
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure the effective flow of financial information

Qualifications

• College degree in accounting or a related field
• Relevant accounting experience, with some experience supervising a team (a plus)
