Range Control Officer

**Responsibilities**

**Description of General Duties:**

+ Serves as central safety contact point for real time Fallon Range Training Complex (FRTC) target range air and ground user by enforcing NAVSTKAIRWARCENTINST 3752.1x (Range User’s Manual), all NAWDC Range Office Procedure Memorandums, all applicable Fallon Tactical Training Range (FTTR) Plans, and Work Instructions (WI).
+ This position is Range Control Officer, Fallon Range Training Complex (FRTC), and Naval Air Station (NAS) Fallon, NV. The ROC, as NAWDC’s Range Office (N58) operational/Safety Representative, shall provide the NAWDC Range Office (N58) with a direct and immediate verbal report (followed up by written documentation) of any ordinary range events in violation of the FRTC User’s Manual which could have a potential impact on public/range user’s safety/security.
