Radiological Operator / Industrial Technician

Job Description
We are seeking a Radiological Operator / Industrial Technician to support a first-of-a-kind (FOAK) TRISO nuclear fuel manufacturing program with BWXT. This individual will be responsible for performing radiological monitoring and contamination control while also supporting the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of large-scale industrial manufacturing equipment. The role involves conducting radiation surveys, supporting Radiological Work Permits (RWPs), and ensuring compliance with ALARA principles, while working directly on process equipment such as furnaces, gloveboxes, and material handling systems. The candidate will partner closely with engineering and operations teams to support equipment startup, process optimization, and safe execution of work in radiological areas.
