Quantity Surveyor

The Role

My client is seeking a Senior QS or experienced Intermediate QS to join their growing Wellington business and work across multiple civil projects in a dynamic environment. You will play a key role in driving commercial performance, ensuring financial certainty, and supporting project teams from delivery through to completion.

You’ll work closely with project managers, site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors while also providing mentorship and leadership within the commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and administer contracts, manage project budgets, and maintain robust cost control
• Prepare and submit progress claims for both contracted works and variations, creating a no‑surprises financial environment
• Track project costs and produce detailed financial reports against budgets
• Lead procurement strategies, negotiate supplier and subcontractor agreements, and manage ongoing administration
