About the role: SMITECH is seeking an experienced
Quantity Surveyor
to support the commercial and contract administration functions for a major M&E infrastructure project in the East of Singapore. This role will work closely with the project delivery team, contracts team, consultants, subcontractors and management to manage project costing, progress claims, variation orders, subcontractor claims and commercial documentation. This project role is to be based on site on a 5.5-day work week. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, evaluate and monitor project budgets, cost plans and cost reports for M&E works. Assist in tender preparation, quantity take-off, measurement and pricing for mechanical and electrical scopes. Prepare and submit progress claims, variation orders, final accounts and related commercial documentation. Review subcontractor quotations, claims, progress payments and contract-related submissions.
