Quantity Surveyor (Consultancy)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, bill of quantities (BOQ) and tender documentation based on drawings and specifications.
• Draft and review contract documents.
• Assess project costs and prepare financial forecasts before work begins.
• Ensure contract terms are met, including deadlines, quality standards and cost agreements.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Commercial Managers to manage and monitor project costs.
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts as per contractual deadlines for client approval.
• Manage correspondence, price and agree variations, and handle contract charges and early settlement of disputes/claims.
• Evaluate and negotiate change orders, extensions of time, and claims from contractors/subcontractors.
• Evaluate vendor bids and proposals for technical specifications and cost‑effectiveness.
