Quantity Surveyor - Construction

The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing the costs associated with precast construction projects from the feasibility stage through to completion. This includes monitoring project budgets, verifying site measurements, and ensuring cost-effective usage of materials. The role plays a key part in ensuring profitability and financial control throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities: 1. Project Cost Monitoring Track actual site material consumption and labour deployment. Visit sites to verify measurements and reconcile quantities with production and dispatch logs. Compare planned vs. actual costs and prepare variance reports with corrective action plans. 2. Procurement & Coordination Liaise with procurement to ensure cost alignment and quantity compliance.
