Quality Tech

Stable and growing company in the Oconomowoc area is looking to hire and experienced Quality Tech on their 3rd shift. Candidate must have at least 2 years of experience checking parts in a metals manufacturing environment, be able to measure and do basic math, and understand the machining process. Shop is air conditioned and offers a competitive benefits package. With the 3rd shift premium, pay range is $25-37 per hour! DUTIES OF THE QUALITY TECH INCLUDE: Inspects machined parts and assemblies per job order traveler and customer specifications to ensure conformance to prints. Measures dimensions using precision hand measuring instruments and coordinate measuring machine. Compares surface finish of work piece to finish standard or by using surface profile measuring instrument. Test hardness of materials by using hardness testing machines.
