A reputable and long-established machining company in Redditch is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team. This permanent role offers competitive pay and overtime opportunities.
The successful candidate for the role of Quality Engineer will be a hands-on QC professional responsible for taking new projects from trials through to stable production, owning core APQP deliverables and ensuring robust measurement, reporting and problem-solving.
Duties and responsibilities of Quality Engineer:
* Lead and maintain APQP quality deliverables including Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA / FMEA and Control Plans
* Support new projects from trial builds through PPAP-style readiness and implementation into production
* Produce dimensional inspection reports against engineering drawings and CAD data
* Perform and coordinate inspection using metrology equipment including Verniers, shadow graphs, CMM and Romer arms
