Quality Controller

My client, a fruit processing and manufacturing concern is looking for a Quality Controller to join their team. The successful candidate must have food handling and / or fresh fruit experience.

Requirements

• Food Technologist qualification or similar (ESSENTIAL)


• 2 – 3 Years experience with fresh fruits and vegetables


• Must be willing to work shifts

Responsibilities

• Inspect all incoming raw materials against specifications, release only compliant products to production


• Record all findings during receiving, record and notify all the relevant people when products are rejected, or when a non-conformance is issued


• Inspect all incoming vehicles against the food safety requirements (e.g. temperature, cleanliness)
