Minimum requirements for the role:
- A National Diploma in Packaging Technology, Diploma in Polymer Chemistry, Packaging or Plastic Technology or related is preferred.
- Must have a proven track record in the Quality Assurance environment.
- Relevant experience working in a QA (Quality Assurance) Production / Test laboratory environment, physically testing the printed packaging & multi-layered PA/PE films.
- Must have an understanding of flexographic printing, extrusion processes and flexible packaging manufacturing.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as good organizational skill.
- Previous experience having worked on ISO 22000 or BRCGS or a related for Packaging and packaging materials, SANS 10330 HACCP and SANS 10049- Food hygiene management.
