QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (AIRCRAFT)

The primary purpose of this position is to perform highly technical aircraft maintenance evaluation, surveillance, and documentation of contractor-maintained T-1, T-38 and T-6 aircraft and support equipment maintenance activities. Responsibilities Serves as the COR for the 71 Flying Training Wing, and conducts surveillance of all assigned aircraft, aircraft components, associated systems, to include contractor quality control functions. Serves as primary COR within the maintenance organization of aircraft and ground support equipment and processes. Serves as the primary COR over contract maintenance operations/requirements.
