About the Role

As an Art Teacher, you will deliver engaging and imaginative lessons that develop student’s practical skills, creativity, and appreciation of visual culture. You will encourage experimentation across a variety of media and techniques, helping students build confidence in expressing their ideas visually.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Teach a range of disciplines including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and digital art

  • Develop student’s creativity, technical skills, and critical understanding of art

  • Assess, track, and report on student progress

  • Support GCSE and A-Level Art & Design (where applicable)

  • Maintain a safe and inspiring studio environment

  • Contribute to exhibitions, displays, and extracurricular art clubs
