QS Engineer/Senior QS Engineer

Core Purpose of the Position

The QS Engineer is responsible for the financial and contractual health of construction projects from inception to close-out. The primary goal is to ensure the project is delivered within the approved budget while maintaining the developer's quality standards and mitigating commercial risks. Other responsibilities may be also assigned from time to time by the Project Director (PD) and owner.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Pre-Construction: Cost Estimation and Procurement

• Budgeting and Feasibility: Prepare initial cost estimates and assist in the feasibility studies to vet proposed projects.

• Bill of Quantities (BoQ): Perform detailed quantity take-offs, unit price analyses, and prepare the BoQ, for all trades, preliminaries and contingencies, which serves as the foundation for tendering.
