Responsibilities
- Examine incoming supplies, parts, and machinery in comparison to purchase specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Check supplier records, inspection reports, calibration certificates, and certificates of conformance.
- Recognize non-conforming materials, record them, and place them in quarantine.
- To address quality concerns, collaborate with internal departments and suppliers.
- Keep precise records of incoming inspections.
- Conduct regular inspections during the processes of fabrication, assembly, and maintenance.
- Verify that approved work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality procedures are followed when assembling and testing products.
- Defects should be reported, looked into, and corrected with the appropriate departments.
- Before shipping, do a final inspection.
