QA Associate (Night Shift)

Verify parts, product, and/or processes to ensure conformance to standards. Inspect materials or products using digital calipers and x-ray machines.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

1. Compare product BOM parts lists or material part numbers to ensure completion of component or assembly orders.
2. Verify specified dimensions on product or material using inspection equipment.
3. Input quality findings into Samtec’s computerized quality system.
4. Perform a variety of tasks which require a thorough knowledge of inspection techniques, materials, equipment, and Samtec Systems.
5. Ensure conformance to established quality specifications by working from engineering drawings, sketches, manuals, or prototypes.
6. Work in compliance with established quality assurance procedures to ensure quality and consistency in inspection criteria.
