About the job Purchasing Officer - Manila, PH Responsibilities
- Works with category leads to supply necessary goods that are sought for the board.
- Handles the purchase cycle with care to guarantee the intended outcome, including requisition processing.
- Coordinating daily with boats to guarantee timely information and promptly handle questions and/or grievances.
- Maintain high levels of productivity and service quality. Actively distribute best practices throughout the groups.
- Works with the ship, the agents, and the local ship chandlers to ensure that orders are delivered smoothly.
- Addresses supply‑related concerns brought up directly by the vessel.
- Gives the captain and superintendent input on the local ship chandler in order to keep costs under control.
