Public/Community Health Physician

Job Summary:

The Clinical Psychologist works in collaboration with the health care delivery system of CareSouth Carolina, which includes primary care offices within CSC, long-term care facilities, and school-based counseling services, to develop and provide plans of care and clinical mental health counseling services aimed at improving the patient's mental and physical health. The Clinical Psychologist selects, administers, scores, and interprets psychological tests and completes psychological assessments. The Clinical Psychologist assesses psychosocial factors of individuals and families, to diagnose and treat complex mental health disorders and addresses any co-morbid alcohol and drug use. The Clinical Psychologist develops and implements treatment plans with evidence-based goals and objectives. Service coordination and compliance with federal, state, and local entities are required for the highest standard of patient confidentiality and care.
