Public Senior Accountant

Description We are looking for a Public Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. This position is ideal for an experienced public accounting specialist who can guide audit engagements from initial planning through final deliverables while maintaining strong client relationships. The role calls for sound technical judgment, a proactive approach to resolving issues, and the ability to support both engagement quality and operational improvement.

Responsibilities:
• Direct audit engagements from scoping and risk evaluation through onsite work, review, and issuance of final reports.
• Analyze accounting records and supporting documentation to identify concerns, clarify findings, and communicate practical recommendations to clients.
