Public Health Advisor

Summary This position is located in the Bureau of Global Health Security and Diplomacy (GHSD), Office of Program Transition and Supply Chain (PTSC). GHSD leads U.S. diplomatic engagement and implements global health and global health security programs, including to address HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, polio, and emerging infectious disease threats. Responsibilities Serves as a Public Health Advisor and as a senior award manager for contracts potentially valued at hundreds of millions of dollars for commodities and supply chain support to partner countries around the world. Assists the Program Transition Team in identifying and implementing strategies to diversify the nature and scope of partners engaged in U.S. international health assistance. Initiates and maintains contacts with U.S. embassy teams worldwide to track and monitor supply chain projects.
