The Opportunity

The Firm’s Property Paralegal is responsible for organizing, coordinating, and delivering a broad range of real property paralegal services in support of the Property Department.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive title searches and related due diligence, including full real property searches and sub-searches under both the old system and Nova Scotia’s Land Registration System.
• Perform searches for liens, judgments, probate, condominium, expropriation, Crown Lands, and other off-title searches.
• Prepare and submit documents for registration through the Nova Scotia Land Registration Online system and the Registry of Deeds, including deeds, mortgages, discharges, and related instruments.
