Summary About the Position: This is a permanent position located at Tank-Automotive and Armament Command (TACOM) Customer Programs, Quality and Logistics Directorate, Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet NY. Responsibilities Serves as the point of contact for demilitarization and turn-in of material for Watervliet Arsenal, Benet Labs and tenant organizations. Responsible for maintaining files of all accountable items that are turned in or demilitarized. Identifies and sorts items to prepare for shipment to turn in sites for resale. Ensure shipping operations comply with Department of Defense, Department of Transportation, and Environmental Protection Agency standards (packaging, placarding, transportation, and manifesting). Responsible for identification and research of assets and demilitarization codes. Receives, inspects, sorts, counts, and classifies the material that is sent into the building for processing.
