Organizational Setting
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is a specialized agency that leads international efforts to defeat hunger. It works with 195 members and over 130 countries worldwide to promote food security, nutrition, and sustainable agriculture.
Reporting Lines
The Project Assistant reports to the FAO Representative in the Philippines and works under the supervision of the National Project Coordinator of the Resilient Philippines Project (GCP/PHI/082/PAF), collaborating closely with HQ, RAP Pandemic Fund Coordinators, and DTRA Regional Project Coordinator (OSRO/RAS/404/USA).
Technical Focus
Support the implementation of the Resilient Philippines Project (GCP/PHI/082/PAF) and related projects on Animal Production and Health in the Philippines, applying a One Health approach.
