Project Manager Varian BU

Job Description Summary Successful candidate will be responsible for coordination of all aspects of Varian product installations and upgrades in Southern and Eastern Africa region. This includes interaction with international cross-functional teams to coordinate project execution including site preparations at customer site. Project management skills and strong technical background is required to manage competing interests. This is an office-based role, located in Midrand, South Africa. Core responsibilities: But not limited to: Plan, coordinate and supervise project preparation and advise customer and contractors for the installation of Varian linear accelerators and its software products.
Meet with customers/customers contractors, perform site visits, help the customer prepare their facility for a successful and efficient installation.
Advise customers on complex facility requirements such as safety requirements, room layout and electrical, plumbing and HVAC requirements.
