Project Facilitator for Buildings Construction Unit

Job Description

*This vacancy is only open to 1) current permanent Parks employees serving in the Principal Administrative Associate civil service title or 2) on leave from the title.

*ONLY OPEN TO CURRENT FULL-TIME ANNUALLY PAID PARKS EMPLOYEES*

Major Responsibilities

- Under supervision, with some latitude for independent initiative and judgment, assist the Director of Buildings Construction Unit (BCU) with the management of Capital Division design and construction projects.
- Track project schedules from funding inception through design, procurement, construction and close-out. Advise the director of missed milestones for action.
- Diligently monitor Unifier (the division’s project management software) for missed tasks and incomplete information. Promptly notify managers of deficiencies. Prepare Unifier reports as necessary for team, chiefs and borough review.
