Project engineer (Tijuana)

Overview

QST Solutions, formerly Wabash Technologies de México, is a manufacturing company based in Mexicali that specializes in automotive electronic components and sensing technologies. Our operations focus on producing speed, position, and magnetic sensor solutions for the automotive industry worldwide.

The Project Engineer will manage projects involving new product introductions, process change management, KPI improvements, standard cost updates for materials and overhead, and application of project management tools such as APQP, industrial engineering, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Early involvement in assigned projects.
• Define and manage required resources for the development of the projects (human, financial, material).
• Carry out planned work according to the project plan.
• Track project progress, identify potential issues, and take corrective actions to stay on track and within budget.
