Air Products is a leading industrial gases company that seeks a Project and Design Engineer to support plant expansion and improvement projects.
Responsibilities
- Specifying and selecting manual valves and piping material to APCI standards
- Selecting and specifying mechanical equipment to APCI standards
- Reviewing project drawings and specifications such as layout plan, P&ID, valve specifications, piping specifications, cleaning requirements, SLD, etc.
- Developing construction packages
- Participating in Design Hazards Reviews
- Leading and integrating internal and external resources to resolve project design and technical issues in all project phases
- Developing project cost details and schedule
- Understanding and complying with APCI standards, specifications, and local building codes in project execution
