Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the cytology programme. Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of cytology technologies and best practices. Monitor programme performance, analyse trends, and recommend service improvements. Ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards and accreditation requirements. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery and programme outcomes. Support the development and review of clinical guidelines, protocols, and operational processes. Identify opportunities for innovation and the adoption of emerging technologies. Contribute to financial planning and the optimisation of laboratory services.
