Program Specialist

Summary This position is located at the Cheyenne National Cemetery in Cheyenne, WY. Responsibilities The incumbent receives general supervision from the Assistant Cemetery Director who issues representative end caretaker-type assignments orally and /or In writing. Incumbent working dependently, establishing work priorities between cemetery caretaker technician duties at the national burial ground with minimal technical guidance from the supervisor. Seeks advice and assistance from supervisor for significant issues pertaining to columbarium incumbents, niche placement, and contract work. Work is reviewed for overall results and compliance with National Cemetery regulations, policies and procedures, within contract guidelines. Participates in local community outreach activities, Memorial Day ceremony preparation, and other ceremonies as requested by the community.
