Position Summary
Serves as a coordinating partner for the Primary Stroke Center to assure compliance with accrediting body for stroke program.
Experience
Five years clinical experience. The individual must have proficiency with internet, email, data bases, and competency with nursing assessments. Clinical experience in neurology or neurosurgery preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
+ Registered Nurse in the state of practice
+ BLS and ACLS required. ACLS can be within 6 months of hire.
+ Nurse certification for the care of the stroke patient with 5 years of hire preferred.
Degrees
Bachelor of Nursing Degree
Essential Functions
+ Serves as program manager for the Primary Stroke Center for the entity in which they are employed.
+ This role routinely reviews and updates policies and procedures working with an interdisciplinary team.
