Program Analyst

Summary The Program Analyst provides support for the radiology and nuclear medicine clinics as well as the Chief Physicians, Administrative Officer, and Service Line Director of Imaging Service at the Iowa City VA Healthcare System, by analyzing and evaluating a wide range of issues relating to the setting analysis, budget analysis, program review, process analysis, developing action plans and processes to improve patient care. Responsibilities Major duties include but are not limited to: Perform cost analyses such as maintaining records of fee basing services for all community-based outpatient clinics (CBOCs) and the main hospital. Develop procedures and systems for establishing, operating, and assessing the effectiveness of administrative control systems and aligning or operating programs.
