Essential Job Functions: TeachingKeeps up with developments in the field of study and online teaching practices. Demonstrates high academic and professional standards. Facilitates engaging, student-centered learning experiences that promote critical thinking and academic growth. Employs innovative teaching strategies to foster active learning and student participation. Creates a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages inquiry and collaboration. Evaluates student work constructively and provides timely, substantive, and actionable feedback through the Learning Management System (LMS) and other approved means. Teaches at times and locations that meet student needs. Provides access to students through posted conference hours, electronic communications, and other appropriate methods and responds to inquiries in a timely manner. Reviews, evaluates, and recommends student learning materials.
